Start Up and Shut Down Procedures Fuji CR Systems

(Please do daily)

Start Up:

- Press the power button on the computer behind monitor.

- Be patient and let the FUJI FILM screen appear. (if any other screen stays on the screen you can
minimize it and the FUJI FILM screen will be behind it)
- Turn on the Fuji CR processor power button. (round gray button front right corner of CR)
o The screen above this power button will show the machine is starting up
o This screen will say ON LINE in the upper right corner once it is ready. If you see OFF
LINE in red you need to restart the system……..follow the Shut Down procedure and
then follow the Start Up instructions once again.
- Cassettes need erased each morning to remove static artifacts…….to do this:
o Select Change Mode on the CR screen
o Arrow down to Primary Eraser
o Hit OK
o Green light illuminates to let you know the CR is ready
o Insert any cassette. While the cassette is being erased the screen will inform you of this.
o The screen will highlight and the blue arrow flashes when you can remove the cassette.
o Repeat all previous steps for each cassette.

Shut Down:

- Open QUEUE tab to ensure all images have been sent from CR. DO NOT turn off CR if images are
still present.
- Click on FCR icon in upper right corner.
- Click on Shut Down.
- Click OK
- All systems will turn off.
