Ethernet Interface Operation Revision 3
1) You must assign a unique IP Address for each unit on the network
before connecting to an existing network. The IP Address may need
to be changed from the factory default setting.
2) Changing the IPA value requires that you cycle power on the unit,
and then start a new Telnet session using the new IP Address.
3) Loss of the unit’s Management IP Address or the interface access
credentials (i.e., the username/password and SNMP communities)
prohibits M&C of the LPOD-R. Follow the procedures described in
Sect. 2.4.3 Recovering the User Interface Access (in Chapter 2.
SYSTEM CONNECTORS, INSTALLATION, AND STARTUP) to restore the
factory default M&C interface access settings.
2. In the Login window, type the User name and Password, and then click
OK. The default User Name and Password are both comtech.
