United States
From 1776 to the present, the 4th of July has been

celebrated as the birth of American independence

and since 1941 it has been considered a Federal

Holiday.

It is a National Holiday that is celebrated in a very

patriotic way with shows throughout the country,

from the small towns to the main streets.

Chile
The vast majority of Chileans celebrate this

holiday at barbecues and fondas, enjoying

traditional foods and drinks such as empanadas

and chicha. Fondas are parties that are usually

held in large places and parks.

Ecuador
Parades and flags cheer the

celebration of August 10, the First

traditional exhibitions, tours of the

Peru
Most congressmen, Executive Power

officials and television presenters usually

wear a red-and-white cloth or metal

rosette on their lapel, and even private cars

and even buses voluntarily place a small

flag.

Venezuela
The highlight of the Independence Day celebrations

is the annual Caracas Independence Day national

parade along Paseo Los Próceres in the Fuerte

Tiuna district, Caracas, where the headquarters of

the National Armed Forces are located. Bolivariana

and the Ministry of Defense.
