mercado

Good night, today we are going to present our project that is called labor training program
focused on market demand. My group is formed by Jean Carlos Gaviria, Jorge Dario Torres
and me, Santiago Galvis.

INTRODUCTION

According to the Employment Report of the program "Cali Como Vamos" (CCV), in the
August-October quarter of 2021 the unemployment rate in young people between 14 and
28 years of age in Cali was 22.3%. This rate is the second highest among the five main
cities of the country. The figure for Cali AM (metropolitan area) is 2.9 percentage points
higher than the national youth unemployment register.

The report adds that the youth unemployment rate in Cali was 7.8 percentage points
higher than the city’s overall unemployment rate of 14.5%. In the quarter of August and
October 2021, about 1.25 million people were employed, of whom 55.5% were men (0.69
million) and 44.5% women (0.56 million).

OBJECTIVE

Depending on the need of the cali labor market, training will be given to unemployed
youth, that is, if the market requires health workers, training will be provided for that
specific issue.

THE GRAPH SHOWS THAT THE ECONOMIC ACTIVITY THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE Our
objective to reduce this problem depends on the Need of the Cali labor market. In
addition, REDUCTION OF UNEMPLOYMENT IS THE TRADE AND THE REPAIR OF VEHICLES
WITH 4.2% CONTRIBUTION IN THE OCCUPIED POPULATION.

ESTIMATION

With the development of this project it is estimated that the Percentage of unemployed
young people will decrease by 6%, which would bring the rate down to 16.3%.

CONCLUTION

We can conclude that the Development of our project will considerably reduce
unemployment in the young people of Cali in the future Besides that, they will be better
prepared for any job offer that is presented to them.
