The Library of Congress asks all visitors to follow our COVID-19 health screening protocols, which are based on
guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the Office of the Attending Physician of the U.S. Capitol.

Before arriving at the Library, please review the symptoms below:

 Fever ≥ 100.4◦F  Headache


 Sore throat  Rash or discoloration of fingers or toes
 Dry or productive cough  Vomiting, diarrhea, or nausea
 Chills  Joint or muscle aches (not related to recentexercise)
 Pink eye  Loss of taste or smell
 Nasal or sinus congestion  Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
 Runny nose

If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days or if you have experienced any of the above
symptoms in the past 7 days, please contact veo@loc.gov to reschedule your visit for another day.

Masks are encouraged but optional within all Library buildings. It is advisable that you wear a mask if you have traveled
from an area of high COVID-19 transmission, if you are immune compromised, or if you find yourself in situations
where you cannot avoid close contact.
