An issue arising out of one transaction across borders A and B is now hardly a standalone issue and can

be applicable to a myriad of international transactions taking place every single day. Multinationals
face the same type of challenges in their business operations around the world. To put it simply, in
crisis or not, the multilateral trading system continues to move forward in their comprehensive
capacity. In doing so, the WTO needs to keep up with the speed of real life cross-border business
transactions and make necessary improvements to facilitate that flow. The WTO will continue to be the
place to provide permanent negotiation forum to its members whose interests and needs related to
trade must be closely monitored, discussed, classified, agreed to and adjudicated on one way or the
other.

Moving forward, focusing more on the process will be the key 4, otherwise, there will be nothing left for
the private sector to extract, manufacture and distribute and for the WTO to monitor, discuss and
adjudicate on in a very near future.
