QUICK START GUIDE

SOFTWARE AND MAPS UPDATE

SlingSHOT® SOFTWARE

ON COMPUTER
1 Go to www.polaris.com/slingshot-ride-command and log in or create an account.

2 Register your Slingshot® using the Vehicle Iden fica on Number(VIN).

3 Download latest firmware to a USB flash drive (file cannot be in a folder).

ON Slingshot®
1 Connect USB drive (with so ware) to USB cable.
2 Go to the se ngs menu and select Update So ware.

3 Select the so ware file and follow the on-screen instruc ons. This may take a few minutes to compete.

SlingSHOT® MAPS

On Slingshot® Ride Command® Display

1 Connect USB drive to USB cable in glove box.

2 Go to the se ngs menu and select Update Maps.

3 Select Create Key in pop-up menu. Disconnect USB when completed.

ON COMPUTER
1 Connect USB drive (with key on it) to computer and visit www.polaris.com/slingshot-ride-command.

2 Download and launch Map Toolbox.

3 Log in or create account (Map Toolbox is separate from Ride Command® account).

4 Select Available Update to update current maps or Buy Content to purchase new map regions.

5 Follow instruc ons in Map Toolbox and disconnect USB drive when completed.

Return to Slingshot®
1 Reconnect USB drive to USB cable.

2 Go to the se ngs menu and select Update Maps.

3 Select Update Map in pop-up menu and follow on-screen instruc ons. This may take up to 30 minutes to complete.
