a) How many domain names consisting of just two letters in sequence can
be formed? How many domain names of length two are there if digits as
well as letters are permitted as characters?
b) How many domain names are there consisting of three letters in
sequence? How many of this length are there if either letters or digits
are permitted?
c) Answer the question posed in (b) four four-character sequences.
2. A car license plate comprises of three capital letters followed by four digits.
How many license plates are possible if (a) each of the letters and digits can
be repeated and (b) only digits can be repeated?
3. McDu offers offers eight varieties of breakfast, whereas Julibee offers six
varieties. Mark has a choice of going to McDu or to Julibee on any day (but
not both) for breakfast. How many choices of breakfast are possible?
