Individuals' ability to understand texts is influenced by their skills and their ability to process
information. When word recognition is difficult, readers use too much of their processing capacity on
individual readings of each word, which impairs their ability to comprehend the reading.

3. Reading motivation is the overall driving force in students that causes learning activities, which ensure
the continuity of learning activities and provide direction for learning activities, so that the goals desired
by learning subjects can be achieved.

4. Reading fluency is reading sentences with appropriate intonation, prosody, and expressions.
Strategies to be taught children can increase students' reading motivation, reading fluency, and reading
comprehension level. Thus, it aims to make them better readers. In literature, one of the reading
activities that affects reading comprehension, reading motivation, and reading fluency.
