Many people believe that the rising of todays consumer culture has played a vital role
in improving our lives.
The consumer culture has various advantages and disavantages. Firstly, we have
available a wide variety of products for every situation and every pocket, for example,
the essencial goods or an expensive television. On the other hand, by having many
products available we are spending a lot of natural resources, such as raw materials,
water and many more that can not be replaceable.
Secondly, the consumerism encourages freelancing and entrepreneurialism, because
the companies nowadays need to improve their marketing and strategies, althought by
doing that, there will be more marketing (Products with higher prices, fake publicity
etc…) deceiving the customers.
To sum up, various people believe that the consumer culture has played a vital role on
our lives and I think the same way, because everyday we shop for goods and whithout
them it would be hard to live.
