At the end of the discussion, students are expected to achieve the following:
a. define analogy;
b. analyze the relationship of words used in analogy;
c. supply other word to complete an analogy.

III. Lesson Procedures


a. Prayer
The teacher asks a student to lead the prayer.

b. Greetings
The teacher greets the students.
c. Checking of Attendance
The teacher checks the attendance.

d. Review
The teacher asks the students about the previous topic.

IV. Lesson Proper

A. Motivation
The teacher prepares an activity called “ Picture Analysis”. The teacher first
explains the pictures and after the teacher lets the students analyze the pictures.

B. Lesson Proper
The teacher plays a song about the topic. The teacher asks the students about
their observation on the video played. The students define analogy based on the
game and video presented. The teacher explains analogy and its types and gives
examples for further understanding.

C. Application
The teacher groups the class into two groups. The teacher presents set of
analogies and asks the students to identify if what type of analogy is presented.

D. Evaluation
The teacher presents analogy with missing word. The students will identify the
missing word from the choices given. After, students need to write what type of
analogy is presented.

V. Assignment
In a ½ crosswise, students will give the missing pair of words to complete the
analogy and to be submitted next meeting.
