Installing SCP software from 7.0CP

The installation procedure consists of two steps: software installation, driver

installation.

DO NOT CONNECT USB CABLE AND USB KEY TO COMPUTER BEFORE

REQUESTED

First step: SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

 Copy for the CD the installation disk folder “\InstallMet32 (i.e. C:\install) to C:;
 Enter in C:\install and run SETUP.EXE;
 Follow all indications of installer and insert the Serial Number of your spectrometer
in all fields to be filled;
 When it asks for a path, please, indicate the folder C:\Met32;
 Continue until end of installation;

Second Step: DRIVER INSTALLATION

 Search in the CD for the folder "\Drivers\Driver Installation\ORI_CCDscp\English"

and select between “I386” folder or “AMD64” depending on the processor of your
computer;
 Run the file “DPInst.exe” and follow the procedure as requested;
 Connect Main Power to the instrument and turn on it. Then connect USB cable to
the computer; a new peripheral will be recognized and the operating system will
install it;
 Connect the USB key to the computer;
 Run the MetalLab32 software as usually.
