Little Red Hend and the Eggs
Little Red Hen is walking in the forest. She sees a nest under a tree. There are
some eggs in the nest. The eggs are round and white. Little Red Hen goes around
the forest to look for the mother for the eggs. She meets a bear. “Are you the
mother of the eggs?” Asked Little Red Hen.
“Oh, no. I’m sorry! I’m a bear. I don’t have eggs,” said the bear.
Little Red Hen then meets a monkey. “Are you the mother of the eggs?” Asked
Little Red Hen.
“Oh, no. I’m a monkey. I don’t have eggs,” said the monkey.
Little Red Hen meets a deer. “Are you the mother of the eggs?” Asked Little Red
Hen.
“Oh, no. I’m sorry! I’m a deer. I don’t have eggs,” said the deer.
Little Red Hen walks through the forest and meets a bird. The bird is crying. “Why
are you crying?” Asked Little Red Hen.
“I have lost my eggs,” said the bird, “I’m seeking them.”
Little Red Hen takes the bird mother to the eggs in the nest under the tree. She is
very happy to thank Little Red Hen.
