Shift of trends towards Ecotourism

The major factor to increase the ecotourism is to understand the basic need of travelers. Most of
the ecotourism destinations are remote areas where the locals have to survive own their own, so
the foreigners also need to understand and respect the local laws and avoid polluting areas. The
natural environment is actually the preservation of the region. Tourists and tour operators are aware
of consequences of tourism activities. Different countries like Australia, New Zealand, Africa and
north America have 70-80% tourists rate who search for scenery, wild plants, and wildlife. The
growing concern is to measure the number of visitors who participate the betterment of ecotourism.
The basic concerns are, improvement of the economic welfare of the destination, provide valuable
tools for publicising conservation and increase contribution in the form of donations.

The sustainable development is a combination of two different objectives that are sustainability
and development of that area. The sustainability factor is dependent on the tour operating
companies or visitors who should motivated by promoting ecology of that area. The volunteer
programs as a trip can also be an impactful experience including evolving interests and needs of
the people living there. The visitors can also be helpful to local people to lead professional skills
to make their lives easier in remote areas. In a way to improve the ecotourism, local women also
play an important role. They are helpful in increasing economic potential of these areas.

The most important sustainable development is to secure the wildlife animals and communities in
natural-diverse areas. Ecotourism also benefit the communities living there as the economic
strength enhanced. Travelers are also responsible to maintain the beauty and wildlife of these areas.
The government should take well-planned steps to provide a good environment to the tourists and
locals.
