POPULATION GROWTH

The given graph shows us the population growth in countries like

France, United Kingdom, Mexico Country, Nigeria and Pakistan in the following
years 1980-2000. The given data is measured in millions.

In 1980, there were almost 55 million people in France, 50 million

people in United Kingdom, nearly 65 million in Mexico Country, 60 million in
Nigeria and in Pakistan there were 57 million people. In 1990, there were
almost 55 million people in France, almost 52 million in United Kingdom, 79
million in Mexico Country, 81 million in Nigeria and in Pakistan there were
nearly 65 million people in Pakistan. In 2000, France’s population was nearly 62
million. In United Kingdom there were almost 61 million people. Mexico’s
population in 2000 was almost 80 million. In Nigeria there were almost 82
million people therefore topping the leaderboard among the given counties,
and in Pakistan there were 73 million people.

The drastic change in population was recorded in Nigeria where

the population was increased by almost 20 million in the time period of a
decade.
