Q1. Write a paragraph in 100-120 words on the topic ‘Holi’.

Ans. Holi or the festival of colours is my favourite festival. The night before
Holi, I buy colours and pichkaaris and get all the buckets ready to be used the
next day. I wake up early on the day of the festival and wear clothes which have
become quite old. Then my dad and I mix colours in the buckets and fill our
pichkaaris. Before going downstairs, I play Holi with my parents and my
grandparents in our balcony. I put colours on my grandmother and turn my
grandfather's hair red. Then I go downstairs in the ground, in front of our house
and play Holi with my friends. We have great fun but we make sure not to put
colours in the eyes of one another. We also use good quality colours which are
not harmful for the skin. When we are completely covered with blue, green and
pink colours, we return home and have a good bath .

Q2. Write a paragraph in 100-120 words on the topic ‘My Sister’.

My Sister
Ans. Isha is my sister. She is four years old. She is chubby, fair and naughty.
She studies in UKG. She sleeps with me and wakes up with me. We also go to
school together. She is intelligent but also naughty and often plays tricks in
class. She listens to me and drawing and helps me draw pictures. Isha loves to
dance and sing. Whenever obeys me. I help her with her homework and also
play with her. She is very good at there is any cultural programme in school, she
participates. She has also won several prizes. Isha cares for me. I know this
because once, when I was ill, she looked after me till I recovered. I know she
loves me a lot. I also love her very much.
