• Choose +2 for the skill your character would be best at, -2 for the worst, and +0 for the other one. These will be added to dice rolls when appropriate (add combat for trying to bash a zombie’s head in, stealth for trying to sneak past a scavenger etc). • Each character starts with an item of their creation (shotgun, doll, rations etc), this is reflected in their skills (so if you had a shotgun you could make your combat skill +2 to reflect this). Action Resolution: • When the outcome of something your character is trying to do is in doubt, roll 2d6 + an appropriate skill, on a roll above 6 you succeed, on a roll of 6 or below you fail, on a roll below 3 you gain a Stress counter. Stress Counters: • If your character is harmed in some way, they gain a stress counter. If their bitten by a zombie, they gain 2. • At 6 stress counters your character goes mad, suffers a stress-related heart attack, drives their car off a bridge, or otherwise dies as a result of a collapsed emotional state.
