Would you like to know more


about how a production
operator - discrete
manufacturing picks the
components to use for a
production order?

If so, follow this interactive


tutorial.

1. To open the app, select


the Pick Components for
Production Orders tile.

2. To select a profile, open


the list.

3. Profile 000002 is already


selected. To confirm, choose
Continue.

4. In the Production order


field, enter 1000080 and
press Enter.

5. Choose Execute.

The list of components to be


picked for the production
order displays.

6. To select all the rows in


the list, choose All.

7. Choose Select All.

8. Choose Picking.

The material RM122 is batch


managed so we need
to select the batch to use for
this production order.

9. Select the checkbox for


the material RM122.

10. Choose Batch


Determination.

11. Choose Copy.

Now we can select and post


the remaining materials in
the list that are not batch
managed.

12. To select all materials in


the list, select the checkbox
next to Material.

13. Select Select All


Columns.

14. Choose Post.

We will now refresh the list


of components to see if any
materials are outstanding.

15. Choose Refresh.

16. To return to the


launchpad, choose SAP.

You have successfully


picked the components to
use for a production order.
The component list is now
empty because all
component materials have
been picked.
