Adobe Reader is the gold standard for reliably
viewing PDF documents on tablets. Let’s take
a look at the ways you can use PDF documents
with Adobe Reader.

How do I open PDF documents
in Internet Explorer using
Adobe Reader?
Tap the document link in Internet Explorer. It will download the
PDF to your tablet. Tap “Save” when prompted, to save to your
tablet. Then tap “Open” to view the downloaded PDF.

I have PDF documents in
Mail. How do I open
them with Adobe Reader?
In the Mail application, tap the PDF that you want to download.
Choose “Save” to save to your tablet. Then choose “Open” to
view the downloaded PDF.

How do I open PDF documents
within Adobe Reader?
To open PDF documents stored on your tablet, swipe from
the bottom or top of the screen to open the app bar, which
is hidden by default. Next, tap the “Open File” icon .
How do I get from
one page to another?
Tap the document icon in the app bar to change how you view
pages. In Single Page, swipe left or right to change pages. In
Continuous, swipe up or down on the screen to change pages.

How can I jump to a specific

Bookmarks in Adobe Reader make it easy to get to
where you want to go.
If a PDF document has bookmarks already built in,
the bookmark icon appears in the top right
corner. Try it now!

Remember: To change viewing modes, first swipe from
the bottom or top of the screen to open the app bar,
which is hidden by default.

In Single Page, swipe left or

Find what you need.
Tap the “Find” icon in the app bar and enter the text you
want to find. Then tap the “Search” icon.
You can use the Previous and Next buttons to navigate
through the search results.
