- In my data file, the grey cells represent reaction times for wrong answers and since we

need to do analysis on correct responses only, I removed them.

- We need to run two type of analysis:
1. Reaction times analysis on correct responses only.
2. Accuracy analysis.
- When trimming the data, use the standard deviation method i.e. to remove any
reaction times greater than (or below) 2.5 standard deviations above the mean (Ratcliff,
1993).
- I need to know in percentage: Reaction times for wrong answers, Reaction times
removed after trimming outliers, and percentage of correct responses left for analysis.
- I also removed the results of 7 participants for technical errors and 5 for high number of
errors made in the tests (10 % right answers only). So, in numbers, 560 observations
removed for technical errors, 400 observation for high error rate.

When writing the analysis your paragraph should start with something like this:

We trimmed data based on the following criterion: reaction times that were 2.5 standard
deviations above or below the mean were identified as outliers and excluded from the analyses.
We calculated reaction times and accuracy for correct responses again. Errors (18.3 %), outliers
(4.6 %), and technical errors (2.2 %) for the picture naming and errors (8.5 %), outliers (4.0 %),
and technical errors (1.0 %) for the animacy judgement task were excluded from the following
analyses.
