IT TAKES A GREAT STAFF

TO MAKE A GREAT SCHOOL

Principal Natividad Carag is always pleased when she asks pupils if they like school and
they say yes. Rarely does a student ever respond no to that question, and I believe our
pupils’ positive response is because our staff is so committed and caring," said Carag.

At Divisoria ES, commitment and care is reflected in the schools status as it is using another
learning modality the (walkie talkie), which signifies interaction between the pupils and
speaks of high academic achievement which reflects the staffs commitment to building
connections with parents and the larger community.

She feels her school is a great place for pupils because of its dedicated teachers. They are
kind and respectful to children. In that way, they are wonderful role models for our pupils.
They keep lines of communication open with families through group chats, telephone calls,
or emails -- whatever works for families. They keep their expectations high for all pupils. They
continuously look for opportunities for their own professional growth, and they support that
in their colleagues"

Principal Carag said, “Our teachers work hard when the public is watching and harder after
their official day is over; and harder still into the private hours when they are at home with
their families."
