Toshiba V3 Embedded Installation

Requirements:
 Requires Embedded Web Browser (EWB) which is usually ordered as an optional add-on for the
device. Code (GS-1020)

1. Set the 08 Service Mode codes at the device: (This should be done by a qualified Toshiba
technician.) (To get into 08 mode by shutting copier down, starting up while holding start
and function button. Then put code #1048# as password.) (If many 08 codes need to be set,
do not restart the MFD until all the required settings have been made.)

2. 08 Codes to set:

a. Enter 9820 and press "Start".

Enter 1 and press "OK". (for Non-Secure ODCA)

b. Enter 9819 and press "Start" (Optional)

Enter 1 and press "OK". (for Secure ODCA)

c. Enter 9110 and press "Start"

Enter 4 and press "OK". (enable "Auto Clear" timeout)

d. Enter 3500 and press "Start".

Enter correct card reader code and press "OK". (60001 for Keyboard Emulation, work
with RFIdeas RDR-80581AKU)

e. Enter 8723 and press “Start”

Enter 0 and press “OK”. (1 is the default) (Disable Logout pop-up dialogue display)
(Optional)

f. Enter 8726, and press “Start”

Enter 1 and press “OK”. (Allow anyone to manage print jobs at the MFD)

g. Enter 9236 and press “Start”

Enter 3 and press “OK”. (Allow all users to delete their jobs from the Private/Hold screen
on the copier)

h. Enter 3642 and press “Start”

Enter 0 and press “Start”
Enter 1 and Press “OK”. (Disable MFD control of print jobs)
 3. Enable the MFP Embedded Web Browser (EWB).

a. Log in to the MFP web interface (TopAccess) as Admin.

b. Click on the “Administration > Setup” tab.
i. Click on the “ODCA” tab and make following changes.

4. Enable User Authentication.

a. Log in to the MFP web interface (TopAccess) as Admin.

b. Click on the “Administration > Security > Authentication” tab.
c. Under the “User Authentication Setting” change the following options:

i. Change “User Authentication” to “Enable”.
