Chapter 4 Heating

4.2.6 Heating Power Circuit

The regulation monitors a triac that will more or less open according to the regulation heating requirements.
This triac supplies a chain of nine 22 Ω resistors, mounted on the metal plate of the nozzle.

A thermostat is also fixed to the nozzle and is wired in serial with the heating resistors. It will open the mains
if the temperature on the plate exceeds 60°C (±3°C). It will close back the heating circuit himself once the
temperature of the plate returns to 52°C (±4°C).

Warning! The temperature of the spectrometer is regulated around 37.5°C.

This not the case of the metal plate of the ventilation nozzle, that can
reach up to 55°C on some places.
