PART 2

Objective: In this activity the students will maximize their 21st century skills
such as Critical thinking, creativity, Collaboration and Computing and ICT
literacy in interpreting, content analyzation and composition writing of
poetry and song. After this activity the teacher will deepen the knowledge of
the students in this written literary and be able to identify the different
genres and styles in composing poetry or song.

Group Task: Listen and Relay!


Form a group composing five members, play and listen the song
entitled “leaves” by Ben&Ben. Have a discussion and sharing about your
insights on the song then answer and perform the following question.

1. What message does the artist would like to relay on his listener?
2. Share your own understanding and try to relate it in your real-life
experiences. Compose a poem or a song which compiles the
gathered story of each one of you.
3. Present your song or poem in a creative video.

21st century Skills:


• Critical thinking= Analyze and interpret the message of the artist.
• Creativity= Sharing of experience related to the song and compile
it in a composition.
• Collaboration= working as a group contributing their own idea
and experiences.
• Computing and ICT literary= giving life to the written composition
using technology, producing a video.
