CHALLENGE
TO CONNECT A BRAND OF OUR TASTE WITH
THE CITY OF MILAN
All pages were planned in such a way that would
combine both the identity of the city with the old-
school identity of the brand.

Students were encouraged to take their own


pictures and to challenge themselves to leave their
areas of comfort and explore a new spectrum of
challenging visuals that could somehow connect to
Milan and to the brand itself.

To create a stronger bond between the reader and the city, students were also encouraged to try out different map
designs, indicating inside the places that were thought to be interesting locations for brand lovers to visit in the
districts identified as the ones that identify the most with the brand.

This project was designed to raise awareness about


the existing worldwide crisis of our food’s composition
being altered to satisfy the crazy need for mass
production.

Human’s thirst for “more” has grown so big that we


even become blind to the impacts that such alterations
have in our health.

Cocoon
is a smart mobile app designed to help the Portuguese community to
track household stock at real time.

The main goal is to help reducing food waste in the entire country and
to help people gaining consciousness about the impact of their actions
in our planet. In other words, it promotes a real connection between
people and food therefore having them acting upon wastage and
knowing about the food’s real characteristics and life expectancy.

is an international service program app designed to provide students of all ages with an opportunity to

from different backgrounds.

TARGET SELECTION SIGN UP LANDING PAGE EXPERIENCE

The app consists of two main menus namely,
the Culture menu, allowing the user to look for
museums and cultural experiences worldwide
during a specific period of time and, the
Volunteering menu, where users can look for
volunteering experiences in countries of major
need.

In terms of UX/UI, the app design was keep


minimalistic with a few highlights of colour to
highlight the different sections of culture and
volunteering.

is a secondary project to Swallow designed to give
a voice to all travellers and explorers to share their
experiences and provide a deeper knowledge on the
many realities that inhabit in this world.

As part of the project, students were encouraged


to write an article about a topic of interest. The
student has choosen to write about Slow Travelling
and the advantages and disadvatages of that type of
travelling.

To celebrate Giorgio Armani’s forty years of career and of incredible
creations, our team has thought of the idea of creating a digital museum
showcasing all of his most important pieces. Other than showcasing
them and telling its story, it allows its visitors to visualize them and
even to try it out.

This project was however more focused on understanding how its


introduction in the market would be possible whilst taking into
consideration the culture and identity of Giorgio Armani as a brand

PETSPOT
PETSPOT
is a first pet owners support network developed with the main purpose of having users
sharing their experiences and creating memories with their pets. After much research,
our team has reached the conclusion that one of the main reasons why people abandon
their pets is because they do not know how to connect with them.

Petspot was designed to better help these first pet owners to connect with their pets by
sharing their moments with them and by feeling free to ask questions to other people that
might have undergone the same troubles.

Furthermore, the system uses geo-location, therefore granting the opportunity for users in
a radious of 5km to chat and meet up in person.

Eight by Eight is a hypothetical gaming start-up created with the
main purpose of launching Scarred, a game project developed
by eight students as part of their final course project.

The idea behind this start-up is to create experiences for a specific


target segment, namely ages ranging between 18 and 65 years
old, prodiving them with more than just mere entertainment.
The purpose is to create something that actually appeals to
their emotional side and allows them to actually learn about
themselves and about the world that surrounds them.

Scarred is a hack and slash prototype game that surrounds around Ed, a rogue
soldier who, after many years under the influence of a compulsion injectable,
manages to break the compulsion and finds out about the existance of a
parallel VR that control the real world.

To put an end to a worldwide compulsion and to restore peace, Ed enters the


VR and in order to get to the governor, has to defeat all the enemies and
guardions of each of the five worlds. For each world conquer, Ed is granted with
a superpower that will later allow him to break the compulsion technology and
to defeat the governor.
