Special Note: GANTREX Epoxy Grout is a three component product with three MSDSs. This MSDS is only for
the aggregate component. See the separate MSDS’s for the Hardener (Part B) and Resin (Part A).
Product Use: High strength grout for base plates, anchor bolts, columns, etc., where either very high strengths
and (or) chemical resistance are required.
Chemical Family: This component is the Silica Aggregate Component only.

The sand used in this product contains Quartz. The Quartz that exists as particles with an Aerodynamic Diameter
less than 5 microns is hazardous. An approved dust mast (for Crystalline Silica) should be worn by workers when
handling this product in the dry state.

SECTION 03 – HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

EYE CONTACT: No effect except as mechanical irritant.
SKIN CONTACT: No effect.
SKIN ABSORPTION: Not applicable
INHALATION (ACUTE): Crystalline Silica (Quartz) dust particles below 5 microns in diameter may be
present in this product.
The prolonged inhalation of dust may result in shortness of breath.
May be irritating to mucous membranes and respiratory tract.
INGESTION: No known effect.
CHRONIC EXPOSURE: Excessive exposure to crystalline silica dust particles (below 5 microns dia)
could lead to the development of the irreversible lung disease “Silicosis”.

SECTION 04 – FIRST AID MEASURES

EYE CONTACT: Flush eye(s) with lukewarm water for 15 minutes holding eyelids open.
If irritation persists see physician.
SKIN CONTACT: Flush with water.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air.
