Portfolio Task # 1: "My Personal Philosophy of the Self"

Portfolio Task

My Personal Philosophy of the Self: The self is unique; it can be influence by someone or
something, but it will not transform into anyone, and will remain as itself.

Way back when I was little, I always question my self: why is he/she like that meanwhile I
wasn’t like everybody? Referring to someone’s colour, attitude, gender, height, facial
features, and etc. And do we really need to change anything about us? In order just to fit in
with others? Until I grow up and realized that each and everyone of us is different from
each other. Each of us have different FEATURES that builds who we really are and different
from others. Since all of us have different features, we should learn on how to embrace our
differences. For an instance, in colour, there are black, white, brown, in hair there are
straight and curls, and many more features. We can be affected by any forces yet, we will
not change into anyone, we do still own our self. To sum up everything that I stated above,
all I can say that all of us are unique in such ways we are good at, we may be influenced
but, it doesn’t change the fact that we will never transform to others.
