Subject: Company Selection for Group Project

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you all have had a wonderful start to the semester! Throughout the
next six weeks, I’m excited to work with you on our team project for this
course. After researching various companies, Tesla, Inc. proves to be a
great corporation for us to investigate. As a world-class innovator and
proven industry leader of electric cars, as well as solar and clean energy
systems, Tesla has experienced rapid growth since its inception in 2003.

For almost twenty years, Tesla has made huge strides in revolutionizing
electric vehicles and clean energy. Currently, Tesla is headquartered in
Austin, Texas, but has six manufacturing facilities spanning across the
United States, China, and Germany. Although Tesla has experienced some
turbulent times in the media this past year relating to workplace diversity, I
still feel the company has upheld a positive public image amongst
consumers. In the long run, the company has proven to be an unwavering
trailblazer in transitioning our world towards sustainable energy.

In my opinion, I strongly believe choosing Tesla will give our group a great
advantage for our team project since there is a wealth of information
surrounding the company and it continues to be a dominant powerhouse
within the automotive and energy sectors. I appreciate your consideration
