OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub : Early closure of Offices in connection with Inaugural function of Central Vista on
08.09.2022 - regarding.

In connection with the inaugural function of Central Vista and visit of Hon'ble Prime
Minister of India at India Gate, New Delhi on 08.09.2022, Delhi Police will be conducting Anti
Sabotage Checks (ASC) in buildings at Annexure-A & B. These buildings are to be vacated
by 1400 hrs on 08.09.2022 so as to seal the rooms after completion of regular Anti Sabotage
Checks. The security arrangements by Delhi Police will continue up to 2200 hrs on
08.09.2022. Besides, in order to sanitize the buildings, roof-watchers are to be deployed. Due
to which, it will be essential that building and the rooftops of the above buildings are made
available for thorough ASCs.

e lt is further stated that in order to facilitate smooth movement of traffic in New Delhi
District, and to ensure security of VVIPs, a number of roads will be closed for general traffic on
08.09.2022 from 06:00 PM to 09:00 PM. Therefore, it has been decided that the offices of the
Ministries/Departments, located in New Delhi District shall remain closed, post lunch (4.00 PM
onwards) on 08.09.2022 (Thursday).

3. In order to facilitate Delhi Police in conducting ASCs on 08.09.2022 in the buildings as

per Annexure A & B, the Ministries/Departments housed in these buildings are requested to
issue directions to ensure that the Caretakers in these buildings are available on 08.9.2022
along with keys of all rooms so that the ASCs can be conducted without any obstruction.
