Several studies have reported the relationship between the students’ behaviour and the flexibility

and effectiveness of online learning; however, students’ behaviours in online learning in physical

education remains to be considered. An online survey was equally given to the Physical

Education Instructors and distributed to the seven (7) colleges with 1,000 enrolled Physical

Education students responded to the questionnaire. The three (3) part online survey questionnaire

includes the video and picture tutorial dependency, YouTube platform as a learning tool, and the

coping mechanisms and learning behaviour of Physical Education students was analysed using

the chi squared-test and one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results show that the

students understands the concept when it is provided with an instructional videos to support the

discussion and learns more the lesson when working in groups or in teams. This result was

significant in college and in year level at 0.05 level. Based on the findings, suggestions on

inclusion of video presentation links as part of the discussion are proposed.
