The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) implements "No permit, No rally" on the possible rally
activities in Cebu City on the simultaneous inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand
"Bongbong" Marcos and Mayor Michael Rama on June 30, 2022.

Authorities will coordinate with the rallyists to discuss the policy so the possible rally will not
disturb the event, Police Lt. Col. Wilbert Parilla, deputy head for administration of the Cebu City
Police Office, said in a press conference Tuesday morning, June 28, 2022.

"The same ang atong procedure. We will always coordinate with the rallyist with regards to the
policy. So, if ever, we can give them a chance as long as it will not disturb the program," Parilla
said.

Parilla added that there will be a designated place for rally activities so they can lobby their
grievances to the government effectively.

Preparation

As part of management control on the possible rally activities,The CCPO have already prepared
at least two platoons of Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) and requested the regional office
for the augmentation of one platoon because there is only one reserved platoon in Cebu City
Transformation Office (CCTO) for CDM.

"In preparation, we have already prepared at least two platoons of CDM. So, we have already
requested from the regional office for augmentation of one platoon," Parilla said.

Parilla added that the whole area of Plaza Sugbo will be secured as it is the venue of Mayor
Michael Rama's inauguration.

According to Mayor Rama's organizer, they are expecting more or less 20,000 attendees at the
