 Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope you are in a very good mood tonight for I, Ygho Vinarao
will be hosting tonight’s party and celebration. I would like to welcome everyone to this
much awaited party in celebration of Princess 18th Birthday.
INTRODUCTION
 We are gathered here tonight to witness the transformation of a young girl to a beautiful
lady. We are very lucky for we are chosen to be here and be part of this momentous
occasion in the debutant's life. You see her grow up. You see her smile. You see her
laugh. You see her everything. And now you are about to see her as a grown up lady. A
lady of good heart, character and ambition.

 An 18th birthday marks almost the steps from youth to young adult, with all its relative
responsibilities. Join us as we celebrate this wonderful girl's coming of age. Let us all
celebrate as our girl becomes a full-bloomed lady tonight, as our girl turns 18.
WELCOMING/ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PARENTS
 Before we proceed to the main part of the occasion, let us first give this moment to the
people who made all these a success: from the planning to the execution, for the foods,
and the details of the party. Without these people, this event would not be possible. May
we all acknowledge and welcome the ever supportive and loving parents of our debutant
Mr. and Mrs. Leila and Franklin Gasmin, together with our debutant younger sister
Francess Lei D. Gasmin. Let’s give them a round of applause.
GRAND ENTRANCE OF DEBUTANT
 In a land not so far away, there was once a little girl with a beauty of an angel. Born
under the sign of ___________, this girl is the first daughter of Mr. Franklin and Mrs.
Leila Gasmin. She grew up with so much love and kindness. She is loved by everybody
for her beauty inside and out. Her voice is an angel. Her smile bears no limit. Her heart is
unafraid. Her mind is ready to try. She's ready for any adventure for the sake of fun and
 friendship. More refined than shy, more adventurous than playful, more charismatic than
charming, more alluring than beautiful. Indeed, she has all grown up and what a sight she
has become.

WELCOMING ADDRESS
 Evidently, before tonight, PRINCESS has had happy years in a very happy home. The
love of a family will always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life we can have
several friends, classmates, and social circles, but there is only one family who is always
willing and ready to welcome us no matter what.

 Ladies and Gentlemen, to answer the question kung saan nga ba nagmana si PRINCESS,
here’s Ma’am Leila D. Gasmin to welcome all of us to their lovely daughter’s 18th
birthday party.

 18th birthday marks the end of teenage and the beginning of adulthood. It is a very special
day in everyone’s life because on this a person cherishes the old moment filled with love,
care and shelter but now the person is moving towards adulthood where she will be
loaded with responsibilities and independence of thought and expression.
 18 ROSES
 Flowers often symbolize degrees of love and affection, but they can also send a variety of
messages. Messages of forgiveness, purity, modesty, hope, beauty and love.

 Like a pretty flower that blooms and exudes its sweet scents to attract bees and
butterflies, our debutant will be surrounded by 18 equally handsome gentlemen who will
represent the debutant’s 18 roses. As the debutant receives her 18 roses and be reminder
that like the rose life is beautiful however there are thorns that signify that life isn’t that
easy for there are problems to be faced. It is up to her how she will handle these hurdles
with the support of her family and friends.

 To begin with, let us call all the gents to gather on the side for the smooth flow of the
program. As your name is called, it is your chance to offer a rose and to dance with the

the daughter’s first step to womanhood and the father’s acceptance of this period in his

CAKE and CANDLE BLOWING CEREMONY

 Let me share a good to know trivia to everyone on how birthday cakes and candles came
about as a tradition during birthdays. Some believe that the tradition of birthday’s candles
began in ancient Greece. Putting candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the
Greek Moon Goddess, Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the moon. Candles
were added to represent the reflected moonlight. Today’s tradition of making wishes
before blowing out the birthday candles may have started with that belief.
 At this part of the program ladies and gentlemen, our lovely and stunning Princess will
blow the candles on her birthday cake and to complete that customary practice, let us all
sing joyfully a song I am sure everybody is familiar with, the birthday song!

DEBUTANTS SPEECH
 Tonight’s celebration tells me that the best demonstration of gratitude in response to
wonderful experience like this one can be contained in an overwhelming thank you.
Maraming salamat po for making me a part of this memorable occasion. And if there’s
one person here tonight who is more than grateful to see all of you that would be our
beloved celebrant, Princess. I’m giving now the floor to our dear debutant to give her
message for all of us.
