The food pyramid is defined as a visual representation of the optimal number of

servings to be eaten each day from each of the basic food groups. In preparing meals,
from breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the food pyramid will be used as a guide for us to
be able to identify how much food we need to have a healthy diet. 

People in different stages, according to their age range, have different measurements
of how much food we consume in each food group. That's why the food pyramid is
designed to make healthy eating easier.

For all the mothers out there who have a child/children that age between 2 to 5 years
old, the children's food pyramid is designed to help you decide what food and how
much to offer them. In preparing the meals for your child/children here are the
measurements of food that is based on the food pyramid.
