My Professional Image: Write Up

Professional image is the one projects about themselves based on

appearance and reputation. It is all about the way you speak, the way you
respond to others, and the way others speak to you. The professional business
image can entail several components that combine to form both how you look in
the environment, and how you perform. It also deals on how you set your
personal values when conducting yourself I professional business obligations,
including your reliability, poise, and ethical composition.
The simplest things to do every day are to always display positivity, show
appreciation to co workers and your job, be an open communicator , and be
polite with everybody. Show who really you are. Act accordingly and show it with
compassion.
Although today’s world is not as strict as they used to be when it comes to
dress code, it is crucial to build ones professional image. It mean that projecting
ones self to world is one of the world most important ways that communicate
ones professionalism and ensure success.
Business professional attire, the business formal, and the business casual
are the three main business attires that are accepted at work places. The most
professional hairstyle is often considered as the style that keeps the hair out of
the face. Minimal design and uniform color is also recommended. Make up and
accessories should also be minimize.
Body language also plays a significant role in portraying a professional
image, beside from the appearance. Maintaining eye contact while talking to
others should also be noted. While talking to manager or a client, you must sit
erect or stand straight. Avoid also unnecessary small body movements. When
meeting a new comer or client, practice firm handshakes.
For different settings or occasion, there are different style and business
attire that can be used. I must keep in mind that professional image is not only
limited to the physical appearance but also includes behavior and discipline but
I must not be afraid also to let my personality shine even through professional
attire and also pays attention to the dress code of that certain occasion or
company.
We must always put in mind that portraying a professional image sends
an important message to the clients, as well as an influences how we feel about
ourselves. We must be confident but dot over do it, in the way we present visually
through what we wear and need to understand the professional image we are
putting across.
