It sounds like a bittersweet
narrative with the person hoping
to find change within the partner.
It shows a personal problem in the
text as its a struggle between two
people in a relationship. One is
displeased with the way life is yet
they love one another.
It may still be referring to the
Filipino culture as it states that the
parents wanted a pig carried by 6
people for the wedding.
The theme showed here is love.
Its hard to maintain a relationship
if one person is not willing to
sacrifice for the betterment of the
relationship.
