What’s the Lead-In? Does it set a strong


context? Why do you think so?
The teacher played a song to start the lesson while
waiting for all learners to join the class. He kept the
leaners busy in asking questions about mood and setting
the context for his main aim-gerunds. context was strong
but it took almost 30 minutes.

Comment on teacher talk, monitoring, instructions:


TTT was too much. However, learners were also given
time to reply. He monitored the breakout rooms. The
instructions were clear as learners were able to do what
he expected.
Comment on MPF clarification:
He clarified mistakes of use of double prepositions in the
last task.

Comment on feedback throughout the lesson:


He appreciated the learners through the lesson and
gave constructive feedback to them. It kept the
learners motivated and engaged though out the
lesson.
