THBT Vaccination should be mandatory and controlled in the constitution.

Assertion: Vaccination exist to prevent dangerous diseases, reduce the risk of infection, and
develop immunity to diseases.

Reasoning: 1. What are the benefits of getting vaccine?

2. Why do government should be mandatory and controlled vaccination?

3. What should government do to controlled and flatten vaccination?

4. How to persue people who does not want to be vaccinated?

Evidence: A vaccine is a type of medicine that trains the body’s immune system. Vaccines are
designed to prevent disease, rather than treat a disease once you have caught it. There are both
positive and negative externalities in imposing the vaccine. Positive externalities include
additional protection to large populations, which can reduce infection transmission, and
increase herd immunity. While a non-vaccinated person potentially becomes a virus spreader
and infects others who are not yet vaccinated and those who have been vaccinated, but have
yet developed the antibody.

Based on the benefits of vaccines, the government should be mandatory vaccination because it
is clear that there are many positive impacts rather than negative impacts of vaccination. The
virus will always try to mutate into a new variant. Thus, humans must also increase their herd
immunity. For example, the Covid–19 outbreaks. This Covid–19 vaccines must immediately
be mandatory and evenly distributed to people to increase their immunity. So we can carry out
our activities just like before the pandemic.

Things government can do to controlled and flatten vaccination is by educating people why do
we should be vaccinated, providing vaccines that equal with public’s demand or according to
the amount of citizen in a country. Furthermore, by distributing vaccines to all public health
center throughout region in a country. Moreover, we can help the government to flatten
vaccination by educating our family or relatives and convince them to be vaccinated.

How to persue people who does not want to be vaccinated?

“People may be more willing to undergo the small risk of vaccination against COVID-19 if
they perceive that public health professionals and the government treating them with respect,
as equal citizens to be persuaded, rather than inferiors to be coerced.”

Governments can support vaccination coverage by ensuring that vaccination is free or

affordable, by ensuring that all children are vaccinated (with limited exceptions for medical or
religious reasons), and that vaccinations are documented.

Linkback: Therefore, we can conclude that vaccination should be mandatory and controlled to
increase herd immunity because it can give protection to large populations. And governments
should provide and distribute vaccines equally to the society. Furthermore, the government can
persue people by educating and ensuring them that the vaccine give positive impact to
ourselves.
