1. Given the force system below, solve the following:

a. Magnitude of force P
b. Direction of the force P or angle θ
2. Given the force system below, solve the forces F1 and F2.

3. The eyebolt supports the four forces shown. If the resultant force on the bolt is 3 kN in the +X-
direction, determine the necessary values of θ and T.
4. If the magnitude of the resultant force is to be P, directed along the positive y-axis, determine
the magnitude of force F and its direction, θ. (Hint : Value of F in terms of P)
