Assignment Naming and Submission Instructions

Below are the instructions for the proper submission of assignments for the Cloud Architect Career Development
Program. The individual assignments will also include this information on each document. Some assignments
require multiple files to be submitted, so be sure to read the instructions thoroughly.

Feedback on assignments should be provided within 72 hours of submission in most cases. Please do not
resubmit or send direct messages to instructors or Go Cloud team members if you have not received feedback
during this timeframe.

All assignment documents should be downloaded to your local personal computing environment. You will note
some of the assignment documents allow you to complete the PDF form and save a copy, while others do not
have this capability. For documents without this capability, you are expected to create a new document. There
are no preferred formatting guidelines for your submissions. When saving your submission, either in the original
downloaded document or a newly created document, you should follow the naming instructions below

Assignments are to be submitted to the proper Slack Assignment channel. The below instructions should be
followed for these assignments. You are to keep the original files saved locally in your personal computing
environment, as the files are only temporarily stored and available on slack for the purposes of real-time
feedback due to storage limitations.

● Upon the completion of the assignment, the various assignment files should be saved using the
below file naming convention.
studentfirstname_studentlastname_assignmentname.filetype

For Example:
chris_johnson_assignmentname.docx

● Submit only one assignment per message so that the feedback for the assignment is clear, if multiple
assignments are submitted in one message the feedback can become confusing.

● Assignments that require submission via slack, should be submitted to the proper Slack Assignment
channel with a brief statement of the assignment as shown below.

If you do not follow the proper naming and submission instructions, you will be requested to resubmit.
