Goals:

- My goal is to be excellent and understanding on how technology can change instantly

everyday and how it will affect my students as they are working on their literacy. Also

understanding that literacy is more than just reading and writing its implementing skills

into our students so that they will remember and try to apply it in their lives and continue

to grow with it.

- Another one is to be aware and try to consider every aspect of literacy in my content area.

Like how mine is history and trying to help my students understand why history is

important and more than just about wars and remembering certain dates. But applying the

literacy part of it and helping them in the areas that they are struggling with. Whether it

be the reading and understanding of the material or the applications like the document

based questions that take more thinking and critically analyzing it. There is so much that

goes behind everything you do in a history class and I just want to be great at applying

the literacy part of it and helping the students understand the true meaning and

perspective of it .
