PURPOSE.

I, Dr. Showkat Wani (Assistant Professor, School of Law) at Narsee Monjee Institute of
Management Studies Bangalore humbly requests you to grant permission to our Students for
the Socio-Legal Research Project entitled “Undertrial Prisoners in Central Jail Bengaluru”.
As they are working on Empirical research for which they require on field study of the same.
I shall be accompanying them and guiding them throughout the project.
