5.5.2 Installation
Viruses! According to the actual state of the art, we cannot guarantee 100 % that the data carrier sup-
plied is free of viruses. In spite of a thorough virus check using up-to-date antivirus programs, we can-
not be held liable for any damage caused by viruses.
When installing the software, the files required will be copied onto the hard disk.
Any programs running or active in the background (e.g. virus scanner, or similar) must be terminated.
Select the "Autorun.exe" file and start the installation with a double-click. Select the desired language and
follow further installation instructions...

Apart for frequency measurement, the instrument can only be used for the input frequency range of 50
Hz.

The transmission of a measurement has to be carried out as follows:

If the measurement value recording is activated at the measurement instrument, no data transfer can be
performed.

UNITEST instruments are subject to strict quality
control. However, should the instrument function
improperly during daily use, your are protected by
our 24 months warranty (valid only with invoice).
We will repair free of charge any defects in work-
manship or material, provided the instrument is re-
turned unopened. Any damage due to dropping or
incorrect handling are not covered by the warranty.
If the instrument shows failure following expiration
of warranty, our service department can offer you a
quick and economical repair.
