1. How would you relate globalization and the contemporary world?

Globalization is essential to the contemporary world, just like these days, because it
connects people towards the ever-changing society. Globalization defines the worldwide
interaction among people while the contemporary world is what we live in, our field. With
regards to the relations between the two, it is in the process of making the world a
connection wherever you are. You are in pace with what the world is changing because
of globalization. You are connected with the people with the help of society's adaptation.

2. What are the roles of technology in globalization?

Technology connects us. It serves us as the medium of the modern society we are living
in. That is its role. That is its asset. The key towards how the people are connected with
one another despite not being there, personally. It serves us the platform also for news,
updates and announcements, for us to know what is happening to our world. How far
does technology take us? Infinite capacity.

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using the internet among the Filipino
youth?

We Filipinos are fond of adapting new technologies as we go on day by day. It is also

inclined with the internet. How would you interact without it? How would you know the
benefits? The casualties? The internet is one of the driving forces of globalization. Their
advantages are to let us inform, connect and to access the information we are seeking
through a website. It lets us into the world of seekers. If we have the advantage, we also
have its disadvantage. The disadvantage of the internet is the abuse of power,
manipulation and theft. This is common for all of us. Maybe we didn't experience it but
research does tell us what other people experienced.

4. How does globalization affect a nation's sovereignty?

Globalization does its utmost power, to help a nation gain its power. It does the work of
helping the needy, countries suffering from unheard needs, to overcome their conflicts.
Globalization also reaches a helping hand to the supreme governments to help them
connect to other countries to communicate with them. It gains the lower state to become
a better one and for the economy to rise above the ground. It is difficult to achieve wiser
sovereignty but it requires sacrifices and risks.

5. What are the benefits of the Philippines in international relations?

Our benefit, as fellow citizens in this country, we are being helped by other countries to
make our economy much more negotiable. We import from outside the country as well as
we export goods to them. We are on the verge of comparative advantage when it comes
to the goods that we, Filipinos, can export to other countries. We are also benefited by
letting our fellow Filipinos work in most countries to sustain their families needs. Our
rights have been raised and our voices have been heard because of what globalization
did to every country in every continent.

II.

The parable implies that one's subjective experience can be true, but that such experience is
inherently limited by its failure to account for other truths or a totality of truth. At various times
the parable has provided insight into the relativism, opaqueness or inexpressible nature of truth,
the behavior of experts in fields of contradicting theories, the need for deeper understanding,
and respect for different perspectives on the same object of observation. It connects with
globalization in a way that if we are the blind men, and the opportunity is the elephant then our
curiosity rises up to the point that it was full of false statements. We are creating a definition,
rather an opinion to what is in front of us. We can also compare the elephant to the
ever-changing world. We are curious, driven and persevere that even the facts can be
conspired. As one of the blind men, we can always take time to investigate and share the
experience towards other people to achieve the goals of globalization. It serves to connect
people not to destroy. It will always serve as the turning point of every country who takes risks.
