MAYA QUILOLO

My name is Maya Quilolo, I am a visual artist, I was born

in a Quilombo community in Brazil, and I hold an MFA in
Communications and Arts from the Recôncavo Baiano
Federal University. Within my practice, I bring video,
photography, drawing, performance, text, and sculpture
to present the quilombos and indigenous cosmogony
into an ethical and aesthetical horizon.
