Adam Wainwright’s.

Adam is not absolutely accurate in the manner in which he handles this situation because his so much
into production but fails to find out the real factors that slows the production at Guitarras Dominguez.
He has not understood the work schedule of the people in the company and their culture so that he can
come up with a better solution. He also fails to put into consideration the consequences of too much
production on the quality of the products and the reputation of the company. This is because from
slavador’s words where he says they cannot lower their standards to meet your plan, it implies that
Adam is focused on production but has neglected the quality aspect of it. Moreover, he has failed to
point out to Salvador that their company has been increasing their production over the years without
compromising on quality just as Fletcher informed him and therefore it appears that Adam did not
know much about the history and performance of the company for this would have helped him to
convince Salvador. Craftsmanship is compatible with increased productivity. This is indicated by the
statement made by Fletcher to Adam that the company has increased their output before and they can
still do it now. This means it is something that is achievable but it only requires the right approach in
terms of scheduling.

First of all based on Fletcher’s idea that the company has increased productivity before, I will ask him to
find out what techniques were applied and focus on further improving those techniques. Secondly, since
Adam has found out that one of the reasons for low production is the too much waste of time spent for
lunch, Adam should try to sit down with Salvador and inform him about the importance of spending
much time in production and find out how they can come up with a proper schedule acceptable to both
of them.
