Brake switch (connector A) [53501]

This is a micro-switch fitted directly onto the dual circuit brake system (SWITCH).

The N.C. contact sends a positive signal to the VCM control unit when the brake pedal is released. It is used for
detecting the actuation of the service brake in order to deactivate the Cruise Control function and stop the supply
of fuel to the engine.

The N.A. contact sends a positive signal to the VCM control unit so that the control unit can activate the brake lights.
