My Unforgettable Travel before Quarantine

I enjoy traveling, being in nature, and seeing beautiful views. When I go out, I try to see or travel to
the areas that I truly want to go as often as possible. Every time I travel with my friends and family, I feel
liberated. The final and most memorable trip experience I had before the quarantine was when we went
to Batangas. It was already scheduled because it’s my cousin’s seventh birthday, and I’m very looking
forward to seeing the gorgeous clear water there again on that day. The mountains in Batangas are lush
and verdant, and the people are friendly. We are always welcomed there, and there is food waiting for
us when we arrive, including the fresh sea dishes that I have always loved.

We remain at least two days after celebrating my cousin’s birthday to enjoy and see the sights in
Batangas. We also go to my aunt’s resort and participate in some sea activities there. It’s exhausting, but
I’m still enjoying myself; there’s a high point where you can see the blue and deep ocean when you
reach the summit. And we always go to the top whenever we visit. It’s difficult to walk at first because
it’s so exhausting that you’ll feel like you’re about to fall, but as you reach the summit, the exhaustion
will go. The fresh air and surroundings will help me forget about my worry and problems in the
meantime.

I have the impression that I want to go back there or maybe live there. It’s just a shame I don’t
know when I’ll be able to return to Batangas. It’s been two years, and the virus is still a menace; as much
as I’d like to return, I’m still frightened of becoming infected. And if the opportunity to visit that location
arises, I will gladly accept.
