If I may… If I may

Be the pillar of strength Be your smiling face

Of all the students in my school No matter how hard the journey is

I may not be able the tallest Or strong the wind I would try so hard

Of all the voices in the world I would open the blocking door

Mine maybe the smallest Then over the land and sea broadcast

But I can almost touch the stars I’d scatter the smiles to play

If I stand on my toes That the children’s faces might hold them fast

And soon my words might change the world For many and many days

So you’d better listen close

If I may…

Be the very wise painter

I will paint the world so brightful

So colourful

Stay and hold all the frowns I meet

I would like to gather each of them

From the past to the present

From the present to the future

Then, folding and holding, I’d pack them in

somewhere

And throwing them to the depths of deep,

deep sea

If I may…

Stop one heart from breaking

I shall not let you live in vain

Be my buddy to change the world

To the fullest view of excitement

That we adore it in each single day and night

Come and prove it

Let’s make it happen without getting bored

with it
