1. Title: reasons for the decrease in the pass rate in the commerce department
2. Terms of reference

As instructed by the principal, the hod of the commerce department was tasked to investigate the
reasons for the decreased pass rate in the commerce department since the year 2019 to the present
year.

3. Procedures

The hod used the following in her investigations:

3.1. Questionnaire – a list of 20 questions was compiled and allocated to students to answer
3.2. Interviews – the hod interviewed 5 lecturers to hear their views on the decreasing pass rate.
3.3. Meetings were held with parents in different locations to hear their views on the falling pass
rate.
