Passive Structures

Función:
En voz pasiva cambiaremos el enfoque directamente al objeto de
la oración, dando otro punto de vista de la situación. Este puede
ser usado en la mayoria de los tiempos verbales.
Estructura:

OBJECT + IS / ARE / AM + PARTICIPLE + (BY SUBJECT)

La pizza es cocinada por el chef. → 

The pizza is cooked by the chef.

OBJECT + IS / ARE / AM + NOT + PARTICIPLE + (BY SUBJECT)

El piano no es tocado por el músico. → 

The piano is not played by the musician.
Eso es probado por todos los participantes.
This is tried by all the participants
Los partidos son jugados en ese estadio.
The matches are played in that stadium.
El banco es abierto temprano en la mañana.
The bank is opened early in the morning.
La marcha es planeada por ellos cada año.
The parade is planned by them every year.
La oficina es limpiada cada tarde.
The office is cleaned every afternoon.
Ellos son considerados los mejores aqui.
They are considered the best here.
Los salones son ordenados por este trabajador.
The classrooms are ordered by this worker.
Somos llamados desde muchos lugares.

Simple Present
The students do the test. → The test is done by the students.
Present Continuous
The students are doing the test. → The test is being done by the
students.
Present Perfect
The students have done the test. → The test has been done by the
students.
Simple Past
The students did the test. → The test was done by the students.
Past Continuous
The students were doing the test. →The test was being done by the
students.
Past Perfect
The students had done the test. → The test had been done by the
students.
Simple Future
The students will do the test. → The test will be done by the students.

Perfect Future
The students will have done the test. → The test will have been done
by the students.
Modals
The students would do the test. → The test would be done by the
students.
Hypothetical Past
The students would have done the test. → The test would have been
done by the students.
Simple Past

The students did the test. → The test was done by the students.

The students will do the test. → The test will be done by the students.

Las casas serán construidas por esa empresa.

The houses will be built by that company.
Estos personas serán dibujados en la pizarra.
These characters will be drawn in the whiteboard.
La pelota sera atrapada por ese jugador.
The ball will be caught by that player.
Present Perfect
OBJECT + HAVE / HAS + BEEN + PARTICIPLE + (BY SUBJECT)
The students have done the test. →
